ReplyDeleteSherwood Forest is actually one place that I have been to! We went there when I was 12 (22 years ago). It was the one thing my brother picked out to do while we were in England. I wasn't really into Robin Hood much, so maybe I don't remember it properly, but as I remember it, it pretty much just a forest then. It had a sign that gave some info, but we certainly didn't see any shows or anything. Looks like it is a fun place to go to now!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!! I know a few Robin Hood fans that would LOVE to go here.
ReplyDeleteThat would be us!!!! My kids would be in heaven!
DeleteSherwood Forest is a lovely place at any time, but the Robin Hood Festival is very much the highlight for those of us that perform there!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed it - it's on for a week every August for anyone who's interested.
