Music Lessons -- Piano

Taking a slight break from posting about Portugal but I do have at least 2 more posts to write up about our trip:)

My children participated for the first time in a piano recital. I was so proud of them both. Considering that neither my husband or I have any musical training, the fact that they can both read music and play is such a joy to me. We first introduced the key board to the children using the program Pianimals and I really liked it. We covered four books of the program on our own before turning to a professional and we now have a piano teacher that comes to the house weekly to work with both children.

  1. WOW! I'm impressed! They both did so well! They play so smoothly and lovely! My children's piano teacher is a homeschool mom of 4 so she comes to our house every other week for lessons and then we travel across town to her house the other weeks. It is so nice that your teacher comes to your house also. Good job and thanks for sharing the videos! I'm going to have to show my kids your kid's great talent! Maybe it will inspire mine to practice more! PS: I love the teacher's accent :) Clicked a vote for you!
